The name for our studio is inspired by an old wartime publication called The Walla Walla.
The idea behind the original publication is very much aligned with our studio’s value system: to create a place for imagination to run wild.
Originally produced by the 4th Marine Regiment in 1928, The Walla Walla documented the daily activities of the military residents stationed throughout the South Pacific. It featured a collection of games, puzzles and noteworthy articles about wartime life. The phrase Walla Walla translates to “much talk”.
